Originally built to tackle the rugged terrain of the Southern Pacific’s Daylight Coast Line route, the sixth batch of Golden State Class Northerns (GS-6) were painted black and assigned to freight duty during WWII. K-LINE®’s die cast GS-6 locomotive and tender duplicate one of seven produced for the Western Pacific, equipped with all the precision details you’d expect from K-LINE GOLD. An operating smoke unit, opening cab roof hatch, separate metal details, TrainMaster® Command Control and Lionel RailSounds™ Digital Sound combine for the most realistic operation on the model rails.
